The Lincolnshire Dance Children and Young People's programme has been designed specifically to encourage and enhance young dancers’ development across the county. Lincolnshire Dance continues to work in partnership with Lincolnshire CfBT- School Improvement Service to ensure that young dancers aim high and achieve their potential, whether leading to careers within dance or a life-long passion for dancing as part of a healthy life-style

Lincolnshire Dance Academy

Lincolnshire Dance Academy continues to develop and offer opportunities for gifted and talented young people to receive high quality training. An individually focused intensive training based at single, or clusters of schools across the county this programme aims to help shape students into the confident dancers of the future.

Talent Days

Talent Days aim to provide an opportunity for every young aspiring dancer aged 11 – 18 years in Lincolnshire to dance. These days give students the chance to experience new styles whilst bringing them a challenging workshop where they are able to work with a professional dance artist to develop new skills. Talent Days are an excellent way to connect and signpost young dancers of new opportunities, workshops and performances across Lincolnshire.

The Menu

Lincolnshire Dance work in partnership with Lincolnshire CfBT School Improvement Service Arts Team to run the dance element of ‘The Menu’ an ‘Out of Hours’ arts activity programme. The programme gives access to dance, in a variety of different styles for pupils at primary and secondary schools across the county.

Young Creatives

This programme supports young dancers to develop their own choreographic skills. Lincolnshire Dance work in partnership with schools and students to create a DVD of their work which can be submitted to Youth Dance England for consideration as part of the National Young Creatives initiative.

Projects and Performances

Lincolnshire Dance provides chances for people of all ages to perform; from a performance platform each year and intergenerational projects to our annual curtain raiser for the CfBT ‘Sew Into’ Fashion Show.
